Glenview Country Club was established in 2000, as a premier Country Club in The Villages. Now, 20 years later, we are proud to say we continue to uphold that legacy.
Our venue is beautiful, with sweeping views of the Glenview Champion's Gulf Course from our back dining room and our remodeled terrace.
Our menus are classic, but still casual. By using fresh, high quality ingredients, we prove that food doesn't have to be complicated to be delicious.
HEAD CHEF – David S.
Chef David's love of cooking good food started at home, where he would help his mother make dinner every night. From that point on, he knew he wanted to cook for a living. Before becoming Glenview's head chef, he served in the same role at redsauce. He is excited to bring some new dishes to the Glenview menu, including one of his mother's favorite quick meals, the Sunrise BLT (a classic BLT with a fried egg, available for brunch), and Shrimp and Grits – a tribute to Southern cuisine. Whether creating a new dish or preparing a beloved classic, Chef David has a simple philosophy; good food brings people together, and there is no better conversation than one shared over a meal.
OWNER – Jack Suleiman
Jack grew up in the restaurant business; he used to visit his father's restaurants as a child until he was old enough to start working at one of them. Eventually, he was running it, and from there, he branched out on his own with redsauce, an Italian American restaurant in the heart of Lake Sumter Landing. When he acquired Glenview, he knew he wanted to provide a classic Country Club experience for guests, while also honoring his roots in the restaurant business. In both of his restaurants, you'll find pictures of him with his sons – and yes, they also visit him at work.
In case you are looking for a recommendation, Jack's favorite dish is the Pan Seared Salmon.
